Had S24+ for a month now and the location accuracy away from home is rubbish. I take the dog out for walks on the heath and my I found that Map my walk app fails to track my walk. What three words show accuracy very low at 1600 too 2300 ft. At home it is nearer 40ft. Maps takes an absolute age to locate and is nowhere near my position. I'm having to use my 4 year old S20+ to track my walks which works faultless. Contacted UK technical customer services twice now regarding this. On the second occasion they had access to the phone and could not resolve. In the end they said there was a software update due this month but could try a factory reset. I did this but no effect. On the US Samsung community there are pages about the poor location accuracy. If not resolve the mobile will be returned.

I have a S24U and these phones have alot of security settings, location locks and other stuff like that, also paired up with Google that has location lock as well. Mine works well though although I had a problem one time and it's a bit cumbersome to use these settings, I love them though.

Yes, I've done all that. Even had Samsung customer technical access to phone. Suggested factory reset until expected software update arrives. Location no problem when WiFi is available. It's when I'm out walking on the heathland the accuracy is rubbish. Map my walk fails to track. What 3 words shows low accuracy of between 1600 to 2300 feet. Maps takes an age to appear and is not where I am. On the US Samsung community there are pages basically saying location is pants. Seems to be not picking up satellites very well.

Sounds like a faulty sensor to me.
