Hi all
Just asking anybody out there experiencing pixelation on s24 ultra, while watching netflix or youtube.
I don't have any issues in other apps ie Disney + bbc iplayer sky or prime.
Has anybody had this. Samsung went through soft reset cache clearing and reinstall the apps but it's still the same. I've contacted Samsung again but they haven't bothered to reply.

I've searched on Google but mostly people are complaining about screen resolution. Thanks for the input, I'll wait to hear from Samsung. P.S I've run the s24 ultra's together but only my one has the issue. I believe it is a hardware issue 1707767965723.gif

Are you within your cooling off period to have the phone swapped out if you firmly think this is a hardware issue @smartfox

By all means wait to hear back from Samsung 👍

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Have you tried going in to the settings on the Netflix app. There is a diagnostic area where you can check to see if the app is running ok. You need to make sure Widevine is saying L1 under playback specification, otherwise it will play at a really low resolution.

Have you tried downloading an episode so you can play it offline just to make sure Netflix doesn't have connection issues?

It sounds like a display driver issue (if your other apps like Disney are working). Have you tried wiping the cache partition. Sometimes driver settings can get corrupted, this might fix it. It saves doing a full factory reset.

Yes. Samsung recommended that don't that, soft reset etc didn't make any difference 🤔
