Petition to Bring Back Vivid Mode

Hi.

As there is no poll option in these forums

 ( inspite me requesting for ages)

 thought I'd do it this way.

If you want the VIVID mode back like it was before LIKE this post.

( Wonder if 100❤️ will get the attention🤔)

PS. There is no guarantee what Samsung will do but atleast it will give an idea atleast in these forums how many people want it back badly.

For those wondering here is what the differences look like

1) Is with eye comfort sheild and adaptive colour tone turned off. The left is an s21u and the right is an s24+ as you can see there is a difference but it is not too much. It is very visible on the red and orange spectrum it pops more on the s21u

2) This is with both comfort eye sheild and adaptive colour tone turned on the difference is more pronounced. And now even yellows and greens pop less on the 24+.

The images dont do justice as the camera on my s22 used to click this probably boosts the colours a bit so while the differences may seem less exaggerated here it is more visible in reality. One thing is the faded colours make things look a bit more grainy on the 24 but frankly all of this is only visible when comparing. if you just had the s24 ud probably adapt and live with after a while and not notice it everyday. But I agree Samsung should let the user choose the colour profile they want.

I always liked the Vivid more even if it wasn't ... natural.  

For me, if there's an option on the phone for two different display modes, there should at least be a noticeable difference between the two; if not, what's the point?

Most people who posted there do not plan to return their phone because of the vivid mode issue.

I am all in favour of enabling the vivid mode, but I have never used it and  will not use it in the future either.

Won't lie I have always used vivid mode on all my Samsung phones.
But I don't see the fuss about it.

For me now having the phone for almost over a week the only thing washed out is the icons.

I've not 'Liked' the post as Samsung already said they acknowledge the issue and are working on a fix.

I can definitely see the issue, I came from a Fold 4 and an S21 Ultra before that and it's a night and day difference.

The most obvious sign that there's a problem is going into Display Settings and switching back and forth between Vivid and Natural. There's barely any change, there should be, there's a problem.

@GoanGeek yes that's what I've seen when playing around with a retail model on my local o2 shop in regards to the Home Screen Apps. 

Had my s²³ Ultra alongside it. 

While surfing Web pages they look just fine.
