My S24 Ultra started overheating abnormally this week on the Instagram app,
50% battery usage for 3 hours of use, I cleared the memory, cache, deleted the application, etc., but nothing helpe
This is why my phone is almost on fire because it's so hot, also using 2x more battery than usual(190% for 10h screen on)
Can someone help me?

Hello @Haris7
First turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
Can you also try >
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

So if you remove Instagram does all go back to normal 🤔 @Haris7
It might be worth sending feedback to Instagram if so.
Until then it might be better to access Instagram via your browser.

I don't know, but its only app that is using more than 10% of my battery so i think its about instagram.

Quick update:
I'm not sure if it's because of beta mode, there was an Instagram update yesterday as well, so this has been fixed for me.
Thanks everyone for helping me!

My S23 Ultra just started doing the same thing 3 days ago. Did the beta mode help? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still overheats. Mine has used 30% with 2hrs of use.

Mine is overheating too. When I look at battery statistics Instagram spends the most battery and it is NOT the longest on screen.
The screen explains everything. Looks like there is something wrong with Instagram.
