OneUI 6 wallet issues

Hi all. Was hoping someone could provide some help / perspective. 

I normally just touch my phone on the reader at the tube stations in London and have been using samsung pay to do this for years now. Recently ever since oneUI6 + samsung wallet my s22U would not work on the reader i.e it would flash red rather than green. I Recently got an s24u and set everything up again from scratch but the issue still persists. Is anyone else experiencing this? What could be the issue. It works fine for purchases just not on the tube readers. I even tried using the fingerprint vs just doing it with the screen off and it still would flash red. I then have to use my debit card directly (the same one that is set as a transport card in samsung wallet) and the debit card itself works.

Unfortunately I can't advise with Samsung Wallet on the tube but I do find that Google Wallet seems to work for me OK in all other aspects.

Sure. The reason I used samsung pay all this while was because i didn't have to use my fingerprint/authenticate when using on transport services but looks like i will need to switch. Also as the problem started after the switch to samsuwallet vs samsung pay not sure if that makes a difference and tfl no longer recognise samsung wallet.

Have you set a transport card within the wallet and are NFC and contactless payments enabled in connections?

I think this was the issue. When setting up the cards it asked me which one i wanted to use as my default transport card. So i selected one and thought its done. But had a play around with the settings and looks like i needed to enable it in the settings and select the card i want to use as my transport card again. This section highlighted in blue was blank and i had to say enable transport card and select the card i want to use again. Hopefully this fixes it.
