Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community!

Not much you can do but wait...not really possible to say when YOU will get it, being theyre released in batches.

*to be sure youll get the uodate go to settings- about- Software information-Service provider software version. As long as thats the correct region then youll get it

Thats why youre not getting updates. Samsung phones are region locked and youre outside said region

SAOMC_SM-S918U_OYN_GCF_13_0007 GCF/GCF,GCF/XAA is the USA (United States of America).

Here is a breakdown of the codes:

SM-S918U: This model number is specifically for the US market version (either carrier-locked or unlocked) of a Samsung Galaxy S-series phone (e.g., S23 Ultra).

XAA: This is the Country Specific Code (CSC) that signifies a USA Unlocked (unbranded) device. OYN: This is a multi-CSC or sales code that is specific to the USA region. The overall code structure confirms it is a USA-based device.

So whats the best solution and does it mean that i'll never get updates as long as things stay the way they are ?

2 options- return the device where you bought it from under misrepresentation.

Or try
- update your phone using smarthings on a pc
- use an american Sim for 5 minutes and then try update
*id suggest doing research on those

We are seeing this a lot. People in Nigeria buying devices that were made for the US market and not receiving updates as they are out of region.

Best bet is to get a US SIM card, connect to mobile network, receive a call on that number then go back to your original SIM or WiFi and try again.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.
