One UI 8 Bug

Has anyone experiencing problems with wallpaper service when you use the new dynamic wallpaper it crashes & re sets to original wallpaper

I just had the issue on my S24 Ultra using instagram bottom half of the screen went green which was gone after a restartand now I am seeing this black dot on the side on my screen dont know what happened here. Now sometimes the shole screen goes to yellowish like the eye comfirt is on

Yes keeps happening with my S25 Ultra, and have the latest software update.

Issue remains after 1st October update installed. So latest patch doesn't squash the bug.

Since the iu 8 update my phone goes crazy.

Usually when I connect the device to a Bluetooth (speakers, android auto ,etc.) The connection doesn't stay for more than 5 minutes.  When I connect the phone to my android auto the phone crashes. Black screen and if I have luck to get my screen back I see the message " ui is not responding"

Sometimes I can't get the screen back for 1 hour.

Not sure will go with samsung next time alot Chinese makes better hardware & big batteries 😀

Happens to me too on a54. Getting really annoying, and after the latest security patch the wallpaper worked for one day and now that it had reset to the default wallpaper i cant even set it back to the dynamic wallpaper.

Samsung s23 ultra is now useless since this one ui 8 update its constanly freezing , it cannot be locked for more than 10 minutes as it will freeze on th unlock screen and only way to quick fix is to soft reset it which only fixes it for a short time before its frozen again , when the phone isnt frozen its also popping up on the screen saying no photo to load , ive tries all of the fixes / remedies online to no avail ive also spoken to phone repair shops local to me who have said there is nothing that can be done as its a major system software issue within the update which cannot be removed , only samsung can fix it with a new patch or update fix ! So what is going to be. Done about this ????

Wallpaper resets to default Samsung image every morning. Can select one of the dynamic images successfully but by the time I wake up it's back to the default one. Seems like this affects many people on S25 range as well as S24 from the various posts I have seen on the subject.

After analysing your error logs, we have found the cause of this wallpaper behaviour. This has been fixed in Samsung Wallpaper version: 2.5.80.0 and above. Please update Samsung Wallpaper once an update is available through the Galaxy Store. You can check for updates under 3 Lines > Updates. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Jonathan.
