the s 25 u only has ui 7.0 last year my s 24 u had ui 6.1 but samsung is in a 4 maybe a 5 beta testing for ui 7 based android 15 id rather wait a bit longer for a stable 15 ui 7 on my s 24 ultra not like last year when 14 ui 6 came in November 2023 2 months before the s 24 ultra was announced official and my sister updated her s 23 ultra to 14 ui 6 in November 2023 and pretty much bricked her s 23 ultra and 14 ui 6 was made for s 24 ultra but even that I noticed for the first 3 months 14 ui 6.1 and s 24 ultra was a rocky road until the April 2024 update came after that my s 24 ultra was exlent .. just wait a bit more for a better 15 ui 7 experience on s 24 ultra samsung in my opinion don't want a repeat of last year I looked at the s 25 ultra and was not impressive to me at all it looked and felt like a iPhone to me in my hand and no more blue tooth s pen either the flat screen and sides and corners on s 25 ultra was a game changer for a loss to me I like our s 24 ultra cornered corners on device and scree the screen on s 24 ultra looks wider and the same hight as s 25 ultra and I like the more rounded sides on s 24 ultra ... keep your s 24 ultra go see a s 25 ultra you will see for yourself I call it the iPhone 25 ultra the feel and look of it..

samsung is doing a beta 4 maybe a beta 5 testing for ui 7 that's a good thing for older devices s 22 to s 24 ultra devices to have a better experience.. so a bit longer wait will be worth it to me s 25 ultra only has ui 7.0 I thought 7.1 but nope...that tells you why I hear issues and some bad ones on s 25 ultra already online and people said at carrier stores and Best Buy I heard of..

You are 100% right. Spending $1500 to still have Android 14 mid February it's just not possible.

Completly agree with your comments, despiting the issue that a large percentage of S22 Ultra went unusable with the January 1st update of the 6.1 (including my S22U, its almost mid february and I had to put my device aside to use my old S9+ while this issue is solved, serioulsy my loyalty is at risk.

Last year I bought into the S24U as of promises of 7 year support and DEX. Coming from an iPhone world. I like the configurable structure of Android. Not knowing Samsung would drop the previous generations so quickly when new phone arrives. Their beta program, is restricted to only a few regions and countries. Stacked updating of their phones. This is something Apple does way better. Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy are the only ones with 7 year of upgrades. As one of the Member Stars pointed out to me and others that the Pixel is totally different phone I had to laugh. Android phones from other brands than Google are putting their own Special Sauce on top of Android. It's a bloody skin. With brand specific apps. Even Nothing has their skin. A skin can be updated, their apps can be updated and available daily in their App Store. It is not that difficult. The phone functions with Android 14, 15 or even the upcoming 16 later this year. If Samsung would wait until the S26 is released they are way behind in releasing OneUI8. I suspect 8 months. Honor promises made. Not losing face. Something went wrong in their development stage.
