That's what I suspect, so I also contacted Samsung with message stating big unhappiness because of the fact that very strangely and unfairly their (often very dedicated) customers are treated differently - of course without any big hopes for answer 😉

This has been answered multiple times today.

Devices sold by carriers have additional software and bloat and any updates require testing by the carriers before being released.

People have been moaning for weeks about the delay to One UI7. Imagine if everyone had to wait for the carriers too, another month or two on top.

That is why.
