One UI 7.0 charging issue

After updating my S24 Ultra on Friday April 11th 2025 to the One UI 7.0 version, it no longer recognizes my Samsung superfast charging blocks. I did all the routine checks in settings. I checked the cable and blocks and still nothing. Prior to the update the phone was charging great using my Samsung charging blocks. After the update it no longer recognizes the charging blocks. However my buds pro 3, bose open ear and galaxy watch ultra, all recognize the Samsung superfast charging blocks. Does this One UI 7.0 version has issues? Is anyone else getting this problem?

Same issue happening to me. Will try that tonight. 

Has to be a software related bug because in UI6 my phone was charging normally...

Our family all have the S24 Ultra, it started with my husband's phone not taking a charge with his wireless charger. Then he finally was able to get that to work and he can not charge his phone with the Samsung provided cord or ANY cord. Last night our son said his phone will not charge with the cord but will wirelessly and now my phone will not detect when a cord is plugged in but will charge wirelessly. I have cleared my cache, started in safe mode and restarted my phone several times. At least we can get a charge but what happens if we are out and need to charge our phones?!

Me too, I have to reboot the phone to get it to charge by wire or even to use Android Auto (bought a dongle to stop messing around with rebooting all the time), but its sporadic, UI7 has a software issue with the port, wirless charging works. This is being reported is many places over the internet, we are not the only ones.

Hopefully someone is listening at Samsung and release the fix in the next update.

On my galaxy S24 Ultra, the One UI 7 charge problems seem to be linked to the battery saver mode. If it is off, the phone charges normally and recognizes super fast chargers.

I am experiencing the same problem. Superfast charging no longer works on my S23 after updating to one ui 7.

The same problem for me. I installed the update 3 days ago and first noticed slow charging. Since today, my phone refuses to charge altogether (it'll start charging but after about 30 seconds does not charge any more).

This is definitely a software problem. I'm on a trip and cannot troubleshoot this. It's a mobile phone, it must work.

My S22 had a physical issue with the charging port which caused me to replace it a year early, and now this software issue with charging on the S24. Definitely my last Samsung ever, I'm so done with this company
