After updating my S24 Ultra on Friday April 11th 2025 to the One UI 7.0 version, it no longer recognizes my Samsung superfast charging blocks. I did all the routine checks in settings. I checked the cable and blocks and still nothing. Prior to the update the phone was charging great using my Samsung charging blocks. After the update it no longer recognizes the charging blocks. However my buds pro 3, bose open ear and galaxy watch ultra, all recognize the Samsung superfast charging blocks. Does this One UI 7.0 version has issues? Is anyone else getting this problem?

I believe this One UI 7.0 has a bug that's causing the device to no longer recognize the samsung superfast charger.

Well I am experiencing the very same issue with my S24 Ultra, which I had no problem with whatsoever before the one ui 7 update. The Samsung or any third party charger with fast charger functionality is recognized. It also does not recognize mobile (in car) fast chargers, and does not recieve wireless fast charge. It is taking 3-4 hours to top the now, which I have to do 2-3 times a day as a very active user, and I need to stay in touch in many ways on different platforms and video conferences. Like I said there was no issues before the one ui 7 update. I have struggled and thought my equipment (cables and chargers) was somehow broken or old. So I bought new original chargers and cables and also wireless dock for my workdesk and mobile charger for the car, even if it has a built in USB c fast charger and wireless dock. I mean this is maybe not a big deal for a lot of people that just bought the phone to be a showpiece and does not actively use it as much, and thereby just let it charge overnight and not even notice the charger issue. However if this is not solved very fast, I am sorry to say I gave to let Samsung go for now and invest in a phone that can be charged quickly, and there is not like there is a lack of options. But I do love samsung and carried Samsung since the first galaxy note phone. And since they got better through the years I learned to depend on them for the stability and capability and knox safety enviroment for work. But this is so critical for me that I really cannot in 2025 have this issue for more than few days before I get hindered do much that customers and my bosses is wondering if I have to scale down work, and by that of loose money I need to have rolling. I cross my fingers until Tuesday, that is my hard limit to keep this phone, as the situation is now. I am lucky I have a few days off because of the Easter. But Tuesday I am back at it, and need a properly charging phone for those 15-20 minutes I have to top off, and some charging in the car if I am lucky.

I'm also experiencing the car charger not working and the slowed charges. I'm currently using and anker charging block as none of my other original samsung blocks are working. It's also the same with my device, as soon as I got the update all the charging problems came with it. I reached out to samsungs customer service and to no avail was the issue handled. I also have been using samsung devices since the Samsung S2. But it seems its time to switch to a new brand of device.

In my case, it shows what it's charging and everything is ok, but it's not charging in reality

S24 ultra: I have issues with faster battery drain as well as slower charging times..
I have cleared the cash partition and used galaxy app booster that people recommended but that didnt change much.. I do still have these problems after over a week of one ui 7..
When charging before, 15% to 80% took ~45 min and now 10% to 40% take ~40 min (superfast charging 2.0). The estimated time to fully charged is also extremely off with the real time 3 times as much as estimated..
Does anyone know of fixes or upcoming updates to fix these issues?
EDIT: I found my problem to the charging issue atleast, for Superfast charging 2.0 (SfC2) to work I HAVE to use a samsung cable, I had another usb-c cable which gives me the info that SfC2 is working but it isn't...
Use samsung cable for charging, helped me!!

Just got the issue today. Mine sometimes says analog usb not supported in the notification.
I thought it was my charger and cables but they work on all my other devices
Tried all my cables and brick on my coworker s25 ultra and it work just fine.
I have to keep plugging in and out just to get it to work. Already is troubleshooted all day and still no luck.

Hi,
I’ve updated to One UI 7.0, and now the fast charging is not working.
I have the same issue too. Actually, I had this problem before when updating to One UI 6.1, and it was only fixed when a new update came out.
I’ve tried all the usual fixes, like clearing the cache partition, changing cables, adapters, and even using different power outlets.
I think Samsung should acknowledge that there’s an issue with fast charging in this update and fix it as soon as possible.
Additional Information:
I also got 4 A05s phones for my friends and family. Two of them faced the same fast charging issue when they updated their phones to One UI 6.1 with the build number A057FXXU8CYC5. The other two who didn’t update their phones have no issues, and everything is working fine
