October update and no data left

Hi there,

I recently installed the October update on my S24 ultra but since then when my wifi is off and using mobile data the phone tells me i have no data left but in reality I have unlimited data on my sky mobile sim and been confirmed by sky so I've tried 3 new sim cards, factory reset and reset mobile network settings and still got data left.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do I get rid of the no internet icon so any help would be appreciated.

It might be due to SKY network issues like @Piper1234 mentioned since there's reports over same issues with specially SKY network also it might be due to update my mates who works at phone repair shops has clients who told after update thay got no service sign (the regulars who goes there etc) and apparently they did everything and update for some reason fried up antennas on s23 ultra and some s22 ultra phones. So I'm not sure if it update who caused loads of issues through out the community or this time it's your network. My best bet is chase SKY as they tend to be "we don't know sorry" people.

Yeah do agree with this one SKY tends to be "ohh we don't know it's your device" but like mentioned below seen people and heard that update fried some antennas on phones etc but this won't be the case I think it's APN and SKY issue

Not sure if this will work for you, but I got in contact with my service provider after having exhausted all the common options: factory rest, network reset, tested sim card in older device (S21 ultra and mobile data worked), tested another sim card from another service provider (mobile data worked) etc

Contacted my provider where they have me the details to manually enter and set the APN settings and that solved the mobile data issue.

Thanks for the reply. I've saved the apn settings for Internet and mms but I can't delete the settings that sky mobile sent to me automatically for me to install the settings I typed in.

I'm guessing you already reset the network settings first. Did you contact your provider for a different APN setting? Because with my provider the automatic settings were not working with my device. So I got given a new set of APN settings from my provider, manually saved them in the 3 dots settings and saved, then my mobile data worked.

And here lies the problem where my mobile data was fine up until the samsung October update and that's when the problems started.
