Notifications not showing in lock screen

Anyone know why my notifications aren't showing up on my lock screen I've set everyone as I should but it's not showing

Try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On @dellathewatch

@dellathewatch: Please double check that Lock screen notifications have been enabled by heading to Settings > Notifications > Lock screen notifications > On > Show content > Tap the cog to the right > Toggle on 'All apps' or select the app notifications you want to show > Back > Notifications to show > Alert and silent notifications.

Tried all above still not working tried turning phone off and back on wondering if it's anything to do with being connected to my smart watch?

@dellathewatch: A smart watch connection could potentially affect your notifications, depending on the make/model, and the notification settings in the watch itself. Please confirm the model number of your watch, and I will look into this further for you. In the meantime, please disconnect the watch from your phone temporarily to see if the notifications start showing on your Lock screen.

Says pop up is no longer available on android versions 10 and above ridiculous

@dellathewatch: The decision to remove pop-up notifications was made by the WhatsApp developers themselves, and isn't something that can be adjusted in your device settings.

Thank you for your advice it's a Fossil watch tried the above think it may be a WhatsApp issue like you say 😉

I've sorted part of the issue disabled battery saver and now have always on screen and finally getting WhatsApp notifications in lock screen 😀

Hi I am writing this message on 07-Oct-24, when notification is not showing on lock screen and you tried all option. Simply try this and it will resolve your problem, Go to Settings, Look for sleeping apps, remove apps which are listed under sleeping category and there you go, you will start getting notifications.
