Notification sounds but what for?

I have setup my S24 + to ring for calls and bleep for messages. However I get frequent bleeps and frequently I can't see what hey were for - there is no message to be found. If it is a system sound, again what for. It bleeps and I can't see any reason for the bleep.

I really only want the phone to notify me that someone is calling me or has left a message for me. If I have to put up with sound notification for other reasons, can I not have a different sound so that I know I can ignore it and, unlike a message, look later, and as I said above where is the reason?

Sounds like a glitchy system! Try restart the phone

To see if the beep is related to a different app sending you notifications, you could check the following.

Settings> Notifications> Advance Settings> Notification History. If enabled you can see a history of the notifications, so if you just heard a beep but couldn't catch which notification it was coming from, it should be listed here.
