No sound notification on Eaton app.

I have sound notification on all my apps but on the EATON app I have none at all. I only realised this when by security alarm went off and I wasn’t alerted by any sound only by a message. On checking I have no sound at all on the app. I have checked the app settings and my phone settings. I have cleared cache and restarted my phone. I have also deleted the app and reinstall but nothing. Anything else I could try? Tia

@Canon4268: Please can you try heading to Settings > Apps > Eaton > Notifications > Allow sound and vibration (On) > Notification types > Ensure that Lock screen, Badge and Pop-up are all 'Allowed' > Notification categories > Check that each category is toggled on, and that 'Alert' is enabled for each one.

Thanks. I've already done that and rechecked. All 3 boxes are showing allowed, but I cant see anywhere that says enable alert.

@Canon4268: The Alert option should be in each individual notification category. If you can't see 'Notification categories' then please head to Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings > Manage notification categories for each app' and toggle this option on. 

Now, head back to Settings > Apps > Eaton > Notifications > Notification categories > Tap on each category, and check the 'Alert' status.

Did you ever get an answer to this, I am not receiving notifications on my android phone until the phone is unlocked. I've tried everything including on my recently purchased new phone. My wife's Iphone recieves notifications fine. I can't believe I am the only one getting this issue.
