I am still trying to update my unlocked samsung galaxy s24 ultra 512gb uk model to one ui 7 I have been on one ui 6.1 security update January 2024 since I have had this phone! It's not good enough samsung!!! Please help me have a secure phone!

No problem at all. Come back and let us know what the customer services say about the region. You may need to give them your IMEI code of the phone which is the 15 digits number. They should be able to verify from their central computer where the phone originates.

You can either phone them, but perhaps the live text help chat might be easier to communicate.

Well when I put in my imei code it works for trade in information not sure if that helps or not. I'm not so good with androids I'm new to it all and it's been a disaster since one ui 7.

Ok I wouldn't take that as verification it is definately a UK variant but it might be a bit of a curveball. Samsung CS should know for certain.

Reading the thread, it looks like you've never had a Security Patch update as you've mentioned January 2024 as your current software.

This certainly points to a device out of region.

Samsung won't replace it as it was sold to you by AO.co.uk which is known i believe for bringing in devices from around the world into the UK (grey imports I think it is called).

I would use smartswitch first and see if you can get updates through that.

Yeah tried that and it didn't work. Contacted samsung they won't help it's my problem 🙄. Ao won't refund because out of return window. So I'm in limbo

Ao.co.uk is dead url. I know this may be a silly question but do the details on your order and invoice match those of ao.com? Trading address etc?
Ao.com are a decent retailer so I wouldn't expect them to be selling non UK device's.
I'm starting to wonder if you bought from them or from a spoofed site
