I updates my s24 ultra and i absolutely hate that the search bar for the apps is on the bottom. I never use it. I always click on the apps. I can't seem to have an option on this phone to change the location of this bar back to the top. I don't like it since i don't have long f8ngers and now im struggling to put my thumb to the top to get to the upper apps. And i also am having problems with the notifications with this update. Whenever i swipe from up to down, i don't get to see my norifications,i always get to the settings menu, which is annoying me. How do you change the search bar to put it back on top? Did anyone figure this out or is struggling like me?😭

Where did you get the information that confirms Google made that particular change? Samsung adapts Android, they don't just use the exact UI. Useless comment.

Concerning the Search Bar on App Screen: no, it's Samsung. Tab on the dots, select Settings. Home Screen Settings will open. Check the App info of the running app. It's One UI version 16.0.07.3 https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.sec.android.app.launcher&cId=000008218890

for the 2nd part there seems to be a logical divide. If you swipe down from left the notifications shall open anywhere else it shall open quick settings options

For 1st even I am struggling on the app page as the home page on my bile is blank due to privacy concerns

you can preview the text if you swipe down from the top left of your device. I have disabled the pop ups due to information privacy reasons.

They are writing their own UX. Not even sure why its on my App Screen and at bottom. Looks like some did not get the meal prior to implementing this change

How can samsung claim is resolved. New interface an utter piece of sh@t and their is no resolution as wont allow to fix the dogs breakfast they have made of this so called upgrade which along with their progressively more uselss AI tool that gets majority wrong its more a downgrade

I was looking for a way to move search bar back to top of screen also! Seems there is no allowing for this. So annoying. Leave my bloody phone alone! I liked it the way it was thankyou!
