Modes and routines

Hi. Very new to modes and routines. How would I set a mode or routine so that i can manually put my phone on silent, BUT to allow certain contacts still to ring me and it rings loud? Thank you

You car try this method without routines:
Put phone on sound mode and set ringtone and notification sound to "silent" which is all the way at the top. Then go into any contacts select contact/contacts you want go to info of the contact, click the 3 dots, click change ringtone/ vibration, click ringtone, and then set a specific ringtone for contact.
