Hi, ik have recently switched phones from galaxy s22 tot s24. I thought all my data was transferred via smart switch and i also had a backup (samsung cloud? Google one/drive? Guess both but im always a bit confused). I have just found out that a lot of photos om my cameraroll have not copied to my new phone.. the old phone has been reset so there is nothing left there. I am very sad about this since the photo's contained very special memories and i dont understand how this could have gone wrong. Alle the other files have transferred.. is there anything i can do?

If you actively synced with Onedrive then your photo's should be safely stored there.

This may help ^

I personally use Samsung SmartSwitch just to move my Gallery from my old phone to my new phone.

It's best practice not to delete your data until you know the transfer has completed successfully.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Samsung Cloud is managed inside Microsoft One Drive (not Google) .

As @BandOfBrothers has stated, if you've sync'd to One Drive then the images should still be there.

Log onto your Samsung Cloud account to see your options.

Did you have Google backing up at all?
