On my S22 I could type in my pin and the screen would open no need to press ok it had been bypassed. Can I do this with my new S24 and how?

Yes but you need to have a pin that is set to 5 digits long @Gary83

This question has come up frequently previously so a search would have found you your answer.
When creating your pin, if you select a 4 digit pin you'll have to press ok, anything from 5 or longer and you'll be given the option through a tick box to not have to press ok each time.
