Lock screen notifications

Hello, has anyone managed to see their notifications, like messages, when their phone is locked and idle? My phone doesn't light up or show messages despite going through all the correct settings

Very odd then as it's no different to mine - the keyword colour on mine is just an extension of the edge lighting linked to a contact.

I can't think of or see what may be causing the issue.

I'm going to do a whole factory reset i think. It's just a pain doing that and having to start again. But that might clear it, especially if yours is fine, can't be a software thing. Thanks so much for your help

I always do a factory reset with a new handset. Start it up, run through basic setup and if it wants to do any OS updates then I factory reset.
I'd also look at cleaning the cache of the handset (details on Google) as that will clean up any leftover system rubbish

I'm having the same issue, 

Since getting my S24U I've had this issue whereby the lock screen notifications and the bottom left quick access icon randomly change, for example:

1. I have the notifications set to display the notification details, however it randomly daily reverts back to just the small icons

2. I have the bottom left quick icon set to access the torch and again it randomly reverts back to the phone quick launch icon.

I wonder if it's a bug in OneUI

Yeah maybe. The hard reset worked for me and it's working fine now. Have you tried that? I know it's a pain but it's the only thing that worked for me

I haven't tried a hard reset, I know I ought to but it's the hassle of going through it when everything is set up just as I want it.

Oh absolutely feel your pain! I tried literally everything i could to avoid it. It's a new phone, it shouldn't have to have a reset!!

That's wierd because on my s24 ultra my notification light won't work on messages

Iam trying for the same. 

When the screen is locked I want the notifications to popup and the screen to turn on, so that i can decide if its urgent to attend my phone or leave it for later. 

And where is the delete button on the notification panel? I cannot configure that; I had it on my old phone 5yrs ago.. Samsung needs to learn a lot.
