Annoying lockscreen messages

Is there a way to permanently disable the frankly annoying messages that keep popping up on my lock screen please?

I don't need to know things like "the day goes on"!

Head to settings and search now brief. Toggle now brief off

What really annoys me is pop up messages for voice mail. Does anyone know how to switch off voice mail with EE? I don't need it. The person can phone me again, when I've got a signal. Have you got to go on the Internet to do it?

I would contact EE, your network should be able to do it.
