Lock screen issue

Hi all , latest one UI 7.0 , since updating, occasionally when I double tap to unlock my phone the widgets and clock are not there , there's just the background where they should be , anyone else noticed this ?

Usual troubleshooting? Clear phone cache partition and or hard reboot

Probably software update coming to fix this, as this might be the bug that caused the UI7 to be paused.

Yes done all that , reboot , cache partition etc etc

Yeah I've heard there's a bug , not sure exactly what the bug issue is unless this is it

I am so happy I found this!
We finally got the UI 7 update yesterday down here in South Africa for my S24FE.

I was so excited for after all the delays, only to find this exact bug!

Now, I am happy that it is just an annoying bug and it should/could/would/might be fixed soon!
Very annoying at night with the phone next to you and this wallpaper staring at you with nothing on it! 🤣🤣

I miss my clock!

Come on Samsung!

Will this be sorted in a May update soon then?

SO! HAPPY HAPPY GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

I fixed the issue on my phone with this display problem!

Turns out it was an app I use to show battery percentage!

You can see it at the top in this picture! It's called Energy Ring Universal Edition!

Disabled this and problem solved!

 If you still having issues, check if you have any added app that draw over others like this, turn the off and test.

Hope it sorts your issue out!

I have been in touch with the developer of this app and should have a solution soon I hope!

I've not added any app that I didn't already have in UI 6.1 , this only started to happen after I updated

Yea, me too, wasn't a new thing, just a compatibility issue with the new software...

Just thought you might have a similar app from UI 6 that might have this issue.

Well @DeanosT in all my " message " notifications I had turned off " show as pop up " because I hated the way when my screen was unlocked and I got a message the persons name and partial message showed up .....but I still liked edge lighting effect ! So I turned off " show as pop up " and set up a " mode " ....when I get a message it turns on edge lighting , worked perfectly in ui6.1 , I've turned that mode off at the moment and yes you guessed it , my issue has gone !!! Issue hasn't happened in a day now after getting a few messages ! So I'm going to redo my mode and see what happens, thanks for giving me the route to check out
