Is there a way to disable now bar and still have media control in lock screen and notification panel?

Just toggle off all you don't want to have showing on the now bar but keep media player toggled on. If toggled off it will not show on lock screen or in notifications but remains in quick panel.

But i dont want to have anything at all at this now bar, i want old media control in notification panel and spotify widget that shows fullscren album pic and media control. I want to disable cancer bar completly having same ui as one ui 6. Disabling media player in cancer bar disables media controls in notification panel

Maybe use Goodlock and Lockstar app and add music widget on the lock screen. What player are you using? It should still show in quick panel

What happened to my media controls? Why are they gone? How do I get back?

The horrific "now bar" is at the bottom of the screen and my thumbs cannot reach there so it is useless.

My device was fine yesterday and now I need a new one 😭 not Samsung though maybe Apple instead now, unless they can fix this.

Earlier I could easily control media and the track bar/slide from the lock screen. Now I have to pan my thumb at the bottom of the screen which is often harder than it sounds while travelling, having to tap twice - one on the now bar media notification and then I'll be presented with the media controls for the said app from where I can tap to control. Which genius came up with the idea to complicate an already simple and convenient process? There isn't any option for media control to be shown in the lock screen if I opt out of Now bar. It's somehow cunningly hidden in the extended notification panel. Which again is no less than 4-5 taps away. Thanks for making my life a bit more miserable. Slow claps 👏🏻
