These are just my thoughts below, and do not represent any official response or news from samsung.
Obviously oneui7 has literally just been released, hasnt necessarily been fully optimised, and there is a lot of activities going on still in bug fixes. I mean this is still ongoing with the S25 and which was natively released with ui7 !!
As an example there are a lot of app updates being pushed constantly, developers are still working on their new versions to support Android 15, and chipset optimisations are still constantly being done.
The fact that there has been a lot of criticism for the rollout of oneui7 and with a timely release, may also have a consequence about whether this s24u software has been fully optimised for the new ui7.
With that out of the way, do you really think that your quick geekbench comparative test is a fair reflection of the overall performance of the phone at this early stage, and after a first official release rollout only last week. Only having had little chance to perform any of these optimisations to the hardware ??
My opinion. No.
Give Samsung some time to get these items tweaked, optimised and in a good working state before making such assumptions. In a couple more monthly updates you may find this improves considerably.
Are samsung intentionally slowing down a one year old phone ??
I mean come on. What a naiive statement that really is !
