Hello,
Ever since moving over to the s24 Ultra, I've found that my instagram doest work properly. When someone writes a long post it sometimes dissappears, the picture is still there but the writing is blank. I have unistalled the app, it will work initially however after so long it does the same again. This includes If i write a long post and use all characters. I have cleared the cache and data, uninstalled and restarted the phone again. Is anyone else having this issue? I've asked friends, they aren't having the issues but are on apple.

Hi @KatieMarieG ,

It sounds like a rendering issue specific to the Instagram app on the S24 Ultra. Here's a technical approach to troubleshoot:

  1. Update the App: Ensure you're running the latest version of Instagram. App updates often fix device-specific bugs.

  2. System Software: Check if your S24 Ultra is up-to-date with the latest firmware or software updates from Samsung. A compatibility issue might be causing the text rendering problem.

  3. Developer Options: Try enabling or disabling the "Force GPU Rendering" option in Developer Options. Sometimes, toggling this can resolve display issues.

  4. App Permissions: Ensure that Instagram has all necessary permissions (Storage, Files and Media). Missing permissions might cause incomplete loading of posts.

  5. Network Reset: Reset network settings. A glitch in connectivity can sometimes lead to incomplete loading of content.

  6. Third-party Interference: Boot your phone in Safe Mode and test Instagram. If it works fine, a third-party app might be interfering.

  7. Instagram Beta: Consider joining the Instagram Beta Program to see if the latest beta version resolves your issue. It might have patches not available in the stable release.

If the issue persists, reporting the bug through Instagram's help section might help them address the problem in future updates.

Hope this helps!
