Instagram issues after switching font on S24 Ultra

I recently switched font on my S24 Ultra. Usually on the notifications bar, the app names show up with a bold font and the content of the notification with a thin font. But in my case all the notification text became thin font. After switching the font again the problem got fixed by itself(I could not take a screenshot that shows the issue).  So far so good. Later on when I got on instagram,  I noticed that the problem still persisted there.

The username euronews.tv is usually bold font on instagram. It's uncomfortable to distinguish the owner of a post from the description of the post. How can I fix it?

This suggests it may be an issue with Instgram rather than your device.

Recommend you reach out to the developers of the app. Contact details can be found in the Google Play Store, search for the app then go to developer info.

Hi , could you please try this steps first.
Open the Settings
Select Display
Select Font size and style
Adjust the options as desired
You can also turn the bold font option on or off by tapping the switch next to Bold font. To change or download new fonts, tap Font style.
Hope more help will come from our other samsung community members.

When I switch to bold font, all the system gets bold.

On instagram some parts got fixed (i.e. in the inbox).

But the issue persists on the feed.

Another noticeable issue is that when I turn off the bold font, I mess up all my system font (they become all normal even on the notifications bar).

The red-boxed texts should be bold 😵

Increasing and then decreasing the font size in 1 solved the notification bar issue.  A really random behaviour.

While still awaiting for the Instagram team response,  I was checking the other apps as well to make sure it only happens with Instagram.  It turns out that the same behaviour is showing up on YouTube app: all the bold letters are gone.
