I got One UI 7 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and I hate every single change. It is such a big drawback for me, that it's almost a showstopper. I used Galaxy S phone since the S III and I have never been so disappointed.

Is there a way to remove this mess and go back to the previous UI?

Fr, from all the Bad Updates they made. This is the worst. I get people running in my doors for UI resets. My coworkers are old and are utterly confused and genuinly hate the New look. I must admit the battery icon is bullshit now. And many collegues and my mom complain about jittery menu which hurts theyr eyes. Is there a easy way to reset the ui or is emergency restore over Odin the only way?

Usually no you can't. Most security related updates trigger a marker within the phone that prevent downgrades. The majority of people will be on one ui 7 with that marker, so the phone will not downgrade.

A few people happen to not have that marker and have done it, but as the mods here say, that's warranty voided

likewise! Terrible. The update in June has changed features automatically that I want no part of on my Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra! It's so bad I can't believe it's compatible with this model: It split my "swipe down" screens and the instructions provided to go back to: one swipe down for notifications and the  2nd swipe down for quick settings. I need my quick settings to power on / off mobile phone. It changed my previous editing features in Gallery photos; it  added large unwanted "date" on opening screen; it changed sizes of fonds on website pages; it's changed background page colors, and on. I have no idea wher my quick settings went; hence, I can't manage my mobile. Whereever it's hiding it's in the off settings, so when I leave my house I can't use my phone. So know I have to go to a mobile repair store and pay for repair "intervention". Do  I need to say more? I will say this: No more Samsung; I'm going to iPhone!

Absolutely! One UI 7 is horrible. Who and how does Samsung come up with this *****? What are Samsung metrics for mobile users wanting these "all to often" updates; I want to know? Maybe Grok has information. The amount of time users have to "dick" around with these update must be "hinged" to developer's job security - or, company sales. I Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra is so screwed up from this June update I do not believe my Samsung  model is compatible!

Yup, A16 5G. Before UI 7 UI 6 didn't kill my battery. UI 7, EVEN with no background processes and terminate process when user leaves it, my battery STILL drains. Also my apps sometimes run in the background despite that dev setting.
