I hate One UI 7: how can I restore One UI 6?

I got One UI 7 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and I hate every single change. It is such a big drawback for me, that it's almost a showstopper. I used Galaxy S phone since the S III and I have never been so disappointed.

Is there a way to remove this mess and go back to the previous UI?

can i download a launcher ap that makes dex work again, though?

No. A launcher would change your phone's menus and how things look. Dex is a samsung thing so is part of the phone itself, not the launcher

Because it is now basically an iphone.  If I liked iphones I would have bought one.  BUT I DON'T.  Guess I will have to find another phone.  Sorry Samsung, it's been a good 15 years.  STOP trying to be like the iPhone, we don't like it!  Please change the software or risk losing lots of customers.

Yes you can downgrade back to 6.x as many have as long as your BIT is the same.

How do I set my camera back to old settings? i always kept my camera setting on auto so pics were always perfect, looking tanned and healthy. The new setting doesn't have this. All my pics am pale and pasty.
The filter setting are awful look fake. Not happy. Can anyone help!!! X

Having just had this update forced on me I can honestly say after 15 years with Samsung I'll changing to something else on my next upgrade if I wanted an iPhone I'd get a iPhone that's basically what you've changed it to

Yes, you can downgrade, if you are a little tech savvy.   There are a few YouTube videos on the subject. I just downgraded my phone and am MUCH HAPPIER back with 6.1.

Sadly, this will likely be my last Samsung phone.

I've found another gem of regression in features, forgot UX which is subjective. Tether no longer works due to carrier check. One more reason to downgrade as I've mentioned UI7 is a regression in functionality, forget the visuals, Samsung dropped the ball taking ques from MS development removing features.
