I got One UI 7 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and I hate every single change. It is such a big drawback for me, that it's almost a showstopper. I used Galaxy S phone since the S III and I have never been so disappointed.
Is there a way to remove this mess and go back to the previous UI?

Exactly i don't get why companies do this all the time, don't Samsung realise that we all would of bought iphone if they wanted one, the reason we bought samsung is cos we don't like iphones!

"One UI 8 is Samsung’s apology for the disappointment that is One UI 7"

BUT there are reports UI8 has bugs too - so check before updating!

For starters, i cant read the battery percentage without taking my glasses off. I have to pause to see what icons are what because some dumb ass geek that came over from apple thought it would be a great idea to change icon colors that have been the same colors for the last 10 years plus. This ***** is hirrible and this is the second time that i have experienced this. When my phone is paid off, there will not be a third time. Im going apple now.

On the tablet, they added a lot of functions that were completely unnecessary and make it extremely hard to streamline functions. Rather than typical pages we're used to seeing on the tablet and phone (swipe right or left), it's now all the apps lined up, no customization, and they changed the way the panel looks. Everything is out of wack. There is now a laptop function -COMPLETELY UNNCECSSARY BTW- just like Apple IOS. It's honestly making me want to throw away a brand new tablet. I hate it.

I agree and I am extremely annoyed because I had my phone set to not update for 3 years and it forced the update last night. It looks and feels like a iPhone now. And honestly if it doesn't change soon this will be the last Samsung I ever buy.

This update is so ugly and comfortable as it could possibly be. It was redesigned for grandmas and toddlers but ignored all of the real target audience of this and didn't even let us change most of it. Icons are unnecessary round and Applish, also extremely big - I tried to lower the size of different icons and found out that eye-smashing big icons are the smallest possible. If they tried to make me hate my phone - they succeeded. But I thought that you want the customers to like your product more, not less. Removing a lot of customisation and fixing the search bar on the bottom is the worst idea possible. Why would you make you marketing around how customisable your Ui is and the destroy it all with one update that makes everything Times worse

I've used Samsung since the original i300 with stylus and palm OS... One UI 7 is irritating enough to switch to the Motorola Razr.
I got one for my father, and it's less annoying than 7.
