I got One UI 7 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and I hate every single change. It is such a big drawback for me, that it's almost a showstopper. I used Galaxy S phone since the S III and I have never been so disappointed.
Is there a way to remove this mess and go back to the previous UI?

Samsung needs to rollback this new 7.0 update. It's absolute trash. 6.1 was perfect. Why ruin a good thing. I wish LG still made phones. I never would've owned a Samsung if they never stopped making phones. Take notes Samsung. LG was a way better phone maker than you.

Does anyone know if I can somehow disable the "animated" view of the Recents (tabs) and switch to something more simple?

My Galaxy S24 Ultra is now just difficult. Lost favorite apps - can't turn things off or disable. Android used to be control-friendly...that's what was so nice. Now there are walls up everywhere. It's not mine to use. Sad...I don't like what drew me to this OS anymore...it's not the same. Spend the whole day trying to fix it...no dice.

Agree...lots of themes now say they won't work, some actually are labeled "incompatible"...and the 3rd party Apps too...now the ads are back because the upgrades don't work. No upgrade and no refund.

I don't understand why they change for the worst. The widget looks ugly thin. The summon AI left down the corner was moved to the power button. The address book that I manage to sort by phonic name is gone. I have a hard time find the number to dial now. If you can't do it better then why try to change?

Yeah, my S24 battery life really dropped after update to One UI 7. Also my friend with S23 updated their phone and their battery time dropped too.

The fact that I can't even turn my phone OFF WITH THE POWER PUTTON (that button is now an AI assistant I never asked for, and will not ever utilize) and have to go look around to find out how to restart- is just beyond insane.
I bought Android to avoid the silly childlike Apple trash experience in the first place, having that forced on me is exactly the recipe to have me never buy a Samsung product of ANY kind, again.
Not an idle threat, this absolutely is how I will proceed. I'd rather start from scratch with an inferior brand that doesn't disrespect their customer.

Everything. It f**** with my youtube at work, easy access apps through AOD clock now gone, and feel like the entire interface is clumsy and slow-reacting - it's that bad.

I've been using it for other things, and for now it's the only thing keeping me sane with this stupid update. Still not the solution I would recommend. It just makes more clutter and clumsiness that was already good with UI6.
