My samsung 24 ultra phone is 2 months old. Prior to a update around 4/1 I was notified everytime I got a text or email. Now I don't get any notifications. I have called samsung and 7 technicians have all told me my phone settings are fine but can't explain why I am not getting text or email notifications. I am really at my wits end with Samsung and even took the phone to one of there service shops with no help.
Does anyone out there have any ideas or have experienced this?

Are you receiving notifications from other apps. If you go to messages or email do you see new arrivals but no notification of it

Did you check that notifications are enabled under app settings for each

Absolutely! So did the people from Samsung and Spectrum who is my carrier.

You could try this if you haven't already @Dale B
Settings > Apps > At the top right hand corner tap on the 3 little dots > Reset App preferences.
Also in your Playstore check you have set bith Wi-Fi and Mobile Data as your preferences.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

In play store where do you look to find if both wifi and mobile data are set as preferences?

still no notifications and now Samsumg wants me to send my phone to them for either repair or new phone. I would be with no phone service for 7 to 10 business days which just will not work for me. I can't get them to send me a phone to use while they try to repair mine. Stupid rules!

Omg, they can't simply make some update to fix the issue to all of us? It's hardware issue and they are going to replace it???
