how to make files on s24 ultra to auto open

On my S21 plus I was able to click on a PDF or Png on any app and it would download and the option to open would pop up. 

Now on S24 Ultra it only tells you file is downloading , then asks again if i want the file to download in a pop up, when i click download, nothing else happens - and that would be it. I need to go to downloaded files to find the document I just downloaded to be able to view it. 

Any suggestions?

When I'm downloading such files the same pop up appears ,and an inclusion the same time that says open now. 

Other than that if I want to open the file at a later time I navigate to the relevant section to open up the file @juaquina16
