S24 selecting 'About Phone' i can't change my sim1 phone number. The 'edit' option is only for name. Any idea people?

You cant change your phone number. You have to do it through your provider

The phone number will be there from your sim. You can't change it unless you change your sim.

Hi @Quinney  Just checking that the  correct phone number from the sim is showing,the phone number showing is automatically generated from the Sim card and cannot be manually changed.  There have ocassions due to a read error where the wrong number is displayed or will show  as "unknown!

It's been long since editting SIM numbers was allowed in Android. Most modern phones will be unable to change this. If you have a very old device around 7 or 8 years, it's possible they may be able to do this.
