I feel like you should have UI 7 by now, which leads me to believe its either THREE or your phones region- Go to Settings > About > Software information > Service provider software version. Under this will show if it is a UK model. Share?
From the screenshot you posted- SAOMC_SM-S928B_OXM_EUX_14_0065 EUX/-/EUX/O2C
You say youre using three? Assuming youre based in the EU- EUX means it's a European variant.
*O2C suggests it's linked to O2 UK....not three, The phone might have been purchased from O2? and even if it's now being used with a Three SIM, the software still reflects its original carrier.
@johnz237 yes I'm on three. My phone was stolen and the insurance replaced it with the one I'm holding. Which was a refurbished one they claim was up to industry standards. I'll have a look at the link you've highlighted. And on Tuesday next call back the insurance company AGAIN , and get their phone replacement service to fix this if your article doesn't get me there. Again, thank you very much!
Thanks again. I tried all that you suggested. Smart switch on my laptop showed no updates available. I tried wiping the cache and turning everything off and on. No joy. Any other suggestions will be appreciated I'll try the phone insurance firm that replaced the phone tomorrow when things open. There has to be a solution eh? At least I hope so or someone will be paying for me to get a new phone!
If I were you I wouldn't have it! It's caused loads of problems for many users and has messed up my phone big time. It now looks like a child play toy instead of an adults phone and there's a white line at the bottom of the screen I can't get rid of that stops me playing the shoes with friends game as its covering the controls! The battery % level has been removed and I can't get it back. Also, it drains the battery and won't let me get into the maintenance to clear the cache. The notifications colour and size has changed so I can't read them very well and can't see many at a time. It's horrible! 🙄
@BalanceDesign . I've got the same issue May 29th no ui7 update in my Ultra 24. I'm on EE and it's not an EE reason as I've had ui7 on an old S22 ultra on EE. I had my phone replaced by insurance with a second hand one due to a damaged screen and charging port. This phone hasn't had a security update since July 24... as far as I can see from about Info the phone is is eu/uk variant. I've tried smart switch and not got anywhere. I'm not so concerned about ui7 bit more about the missing security updates
