So a bit of context first: I just bought the S24+ today and I finally finished up transferring all the data from my old phone (S20 FE 4G) via Smart Switch, so far I'm loving the phone and all of its premium features. I just have one somewhat major concern though; all my apps have the exact same notification sound. On my S20 FE, apps like Snapchat, Discord, Messenger, Shopee, Life360, etc. all had unique app-provided notification sounds, however, my S24+ doesn't seem to have this anymore. I've tried exploring Notifications in Settings and I found out that I am able to change the notification sound, yes, but there is no "app-provided sound" option.
I was just wondering if there was a fix to this because this does cause a slight inconvenience for me, I now have to constantly check my phone to see which app the notification came from.
Cheers!

Hello. Unfortunately, the only way was to reinstall each app manually. Slightly inconvenient, but it fixed my concern. Hope this helps.

You can then go into each apps notification settings in more depth in the Notification Categories menu

I have managed to change the notification sound for my Calender app but when it activates, i also get the default notification too! Worked fine on my old S10e phone
