Galaxy S24 Ultra. Photo Intelligent Optimisation.

Hi Anyone know how to turn off the intelligence optimisation when taking photos on S24 Ultra as is ruining the photos. You can see them perfect and few seconds later when it optimised them are not as sharp

Unfortunately, we all have problems with the S24 Ultra camera, the images are not sharp, the photos have a lot of noise, none of the photos are natural, the selfie is awful, the zoom is not smooth, and with all these problems, Samsung is not responsive, the time it should take I would return the phone, it is finished, neither the retailer will take it back, nor Samsung, in any case, I think Samsung fooled the customers with pre-sale ads.

And of course the answer to your question is, unfortunately no, there is no key to stop it

Hi akam. My 1st s24 ultra, was similar to the one you have,and samsung replaced it. This one is OK, but sometimes the intelligence optimisation is ruin the photos

Hi, I did the same thing, replaced the phone with another one, but both of them had the same problems

Someone suggested to download the camera assistant as was missing from the camera menu and after I changed some settings it looks OK. I will try some photos tomorrow and will let you know

I've opted for the minimum setting for intelligent optimisation @GeoPan in the cameras settings which seems to have helped me. 

For the ability to turn this completely off I'd suggest to send your feedback via your Samsung Members App.

This is set to the minimum. I cropped and zoom in on the head of this beautiful Sparrowhawk. Look the intelligence(stupid I call it)optimisation blend with the background the nose and parts of the head . How Samsung passed this software and advertising everywhere that is a good thing? Are Samsung engineers got an alzheimer disease 🤔,

The pictures are just terrible, I discovered this too late to return the phone. The only way out I found so far is to install a third party app. But they are also not very good. This phone is just waste of money, the camera is much worse than that of even an old Note8

Samsung messed this up on this phone . The only solution for the moment is to take the photos with 12MP and 9/16. This way is more useful than 50MP and 200MP. Also use camera assistant
