First, a disclaimer - I have used Iphones for decades. Was told it would be a learning curve with Samsung - that is the greatest understatement ever.
Got the S24 Ultra and am ready to throw it in the trash.
First problem - who sends out a phone with no charging cable? Had to drive 30 mins to town and back to get one.
Second, who has to go up and search on HOW TO ANSWER A CALL? I had to. Sometimes the call is answered when I pick the phone up - sometimes not - - a window with a green and red button comes up. You can push, swipe, spit - whatever - AND THE CALL DOESN'T CONNECT. This is the same screen that come up when I am on a call and get another call - again, You can push, swipe, spit - NOTHING. With my older Iphone I had the option to sent to voice mail, put the call I am on on hold, answer and then go back to on hold call - NOT WITH THIS PHONE.
I have two hearing aids - had iphone when I got them, set them up on Bluetooth one time and never had a problem. I have had nothing but trouble with this phone - from setting up the first time to the phone keeps dropping the Bluetooth. Right now, both are working - If I take them off, put them in the charger, which cuts them off, and then put them back in - NO BLUETOOTH - have to got through the whole setup process again. Carrier, Samsung and manufacturer called many times - nothing.
These are just some of the problems I have had - the list is long.
What I would like to ask is, why would any company that makes phones have to use outside apps to make things work. Flat out dumb.
I am outside the time where I can send the phone back. Got a deal from Spectrum and will owe something under $700 which I will pay off over 3 years. I am looking into trying to sell this phone and getting another iphone.
Sorry about this post but, as I stated, and am beyond frustrated.

I understand and was expecting a learning curve but nothing like this. And when the carrier, Samsung and the manufacture can't solve a problem, one might think that it is a phone problem, right?
A learning curve with an iphone - sure, but I can give someone that had never used a mobile phone before and the learning curve is fairly short. When you have a GREEN button that no matter how or what you do a call will not be connected that isn't a learning curve, that is a programing problem with the phones software.
I understand everyone that has used these phones for years and are used to putting up with all the problems but it is not for me. If a button pops up on my iphone and it tap it, something happens. When a window pops up with options and I pick an option, something happens.
But tks for the reply - if I can find a way I will get rid of this S24 Ultra and go back to an iphone - even at a loss.

Tks, Tec - yes, I have the cable - - but it fits nothing that I had so had to go buy a 'LIGHTING" cable.
Your statement about being able to change setting to answer is my problem - why do you HAVE TO change something just to be able to answer the phone. Why would someone want to do so?
As for Bluetooth - neither the carrier, Samsung or the manufacture can solve the problem. Manufacture said they are having a problem with the Ultra. And something that just doesn't make sense is that I get a sound in my hearing aids when a text comes in, but no speech on a call unless I go through the whole process of setting up again both the hearing aid app and the phone.
Anyway, tks - I just like simple. I just want to talk, text, take a few pics - nothing fancy. And I always found a manual shift was just fine.
Tks - take care - jb

To be honest, I don't remember if my S24 Ultra came with a cable. (I have so many chargers and extra cables, that's not an issue for me.)
As an historical note, it was Apple who first stopped putting chargers in the box when buying a new phone, that was in 2020, I believe; Samsung followed suit.
Advice from an old guy, give the phone a few more weeks, read up on the operating system, watch some YouTube videos, and rethink your decision.
I bought a Samsung Classic Watch4 a few years ago, my first smart watch, and it took me some time to figure it out.
If an old guy like me - and I'm doing exactly the opposite of playing the age card - can figure out these new fangled devices, you certainly can.
There's a learning curve with every new device. Give it two more weeks and if you're still dissatisfied, try and sell the phone. (If you had purchased the phone directly from Samsung you could have returned it for a full refund, that's why I tend to buy directly from the manufacturer.)
