Fast charge s24 ultra

My phone fast charge stop working. How i know is my mom has S22 plus and it kept the fast charge. While I plug mine in, it says fast charge, then a few seconds later it goes to slow charge. S22 plus fast charge 28 mins while aprox same percentage 1hr charge??? Can this be fixed?

Does it say fast charge, super fast charge or super fast charge 2.0?

It is worth pointing out here that the S22+ has a smaller battery than the S24 Ultra so using % as a measurement won't give an accurate answer.

Are you using an official Samsung Charger and official Samsung Charging Cable?

Many non official chargers have a lower capacity both cable and charger.

When i plug it in it says super fast charge 2.0. Then it goes back to normal charge

Then it's normal. If you go to settings > battery > on top it should say if its fast charging, super fast charging, or charging.

If it's fast or superfast it's good as it should be as from one ui 6.1 when you plug fast or superfast charger it will display on screen for few seconds and goes back to charging.

Have you tried other charge bricks and other cables? With fast charging, the phone talks with the charger to charge correctly. If something goes wrong, it stops or slows down.

Might be a dirty or dusty charge port, might be a bad cable, might be a bad charging brick.

The s22+ doesn't support super fast charge 2.0, only super fast charge. So it might work fine at slower speeds, but detects issues with it tries to charge your phone with more power

You are already on 96% so charging will slow down to protect the battery

Look here instead. The notification goes back to charging after a few seconds. The battery settings page always shows the full charge info. If it says super fast charging 2.0 in the settings page, things are just fine. It that says just charging, then something is up
