Hi All,

I hope you are all doing well.

Recently, I did my beta update just four days ago. Usually, my phone lasts for one day with 20% battery left at night. But now, I need to charge it once more before bed; it seems to consume 40% more than usual. Even with all networks off, always-on display off, and no extra applications running, I am constantly checking background applications.

Do you have any idea if this is a phone issue, or is anyone else facing the same problem with the beta update? Please let me know.

Hi.

That's why it's called a beta.

People were moaning so they sent the update 🙄 😒.

The next update will sort it.

Meantime make sure all apps are upto date in both Samsung and Google store.

And Restart your phone again. 😊

It's very common to experience increased battery drain after a beta update. Beta software, by its nature, is still in development and often contains optimizations that haven't been fully implemented.
If you're using a beta version, provide feedback to the developers about the battery drain. This helps them identify and fix the issue.

The main thing I would think of is also to make sure all apps are updated in both the Google and Samsung stores.

Clear phone cache partition:
1. Turn off the device. Connect it to the computer. Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Power key.
2. When the Android logo appears, release both keys.
3. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
4. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight "wipe cache partition".
5. Press the Power key to select.
6. Press the Volume down key to highlight "yes," then press the Power key to select.

Go to device care > battery > see which apps are doing this.

Go to device care- click optimise

This isn't the text message thread, this isn't social media, stop sending so many posts to the thread that are irrelevant like how are you doing, bunch of hearts and other stuff. You're annoying users because everybody who subscribe to this thread gets emails. So knock it off.
