Hey folks

S24 Ultra - bought from Samsung and using a sim from Talkmobile.

After 4 rings, call goes to voicemail.

**61*121*11*XX# should be the code where XX is the number of seconds. It registers ok but still device only takes 4 rings then voicemail.

Talkmobile also suggested **61*121*10*XX# but the device doesn't like code.

Talkmobile say that they cannot change it at their end.

Any ideas please?

Talkmobile is an mvno using the Vodafone network.

When you call them, you're talking to Vodafone as they are owned by Vodafone.

It is clear that as 3 agents have all said the same, then they can't do it so I need to work out another way as the MMI codes aren't working.

You can set the amount of times the phone if you call samsung or call your network provider is a better option

Thank you but if you had read the above, you'll have seen I've done those steps without success.

Thank you but as I've said above, I've had 3 separate conversations with Talkmobile and each agent has said the same, they cannot change it and I have to use the **61 code. But that isn't working.

Bit late but in case it helps anyone. I've just had this issue on an old S20FE. The **61*121*11*XX# code says it was successful but didn't work, I tried the **61*121*10*XX# code and it did work. If you use *#61*10# or *#61*11# it tells you the ring length but I think these are the defaults because although I now have a 25 second ring length, it still says 15 secs.

Hi, I'm another one having issues with this.  I'm using an A15 5G on Lebara (uses Vodafone network).   Are you saying that even though it shows as 15 seconds, it is actually set to 25 seconds?

I had a chat with Lebara who (same as for OP) suggested the codes with either 10 or 11 then 30 for the ringtime, but it always still said 15 seconds when checked.  The Lebara agent called me to test it, still only 15 seconds.

I then put the SIM into a different (non-Samsung) handset and set it to 30 seconds, and when checked, it showed as being set to 30 seconds.  Then put the SIM back into the A15 and it shows as 15 seconds again.

Just tried calling it from another phone and it seemed to ring for about 25 seconds 🤷‍ 🤞

So it seems to me like it's a Samsung issue, rather than a Lebara/Vodafone issue, as moving the SIM into a different (non-Samsung) handset appears to have sorted the setting, albeit not the checking function.

(How I long for the days when you could just dial 121 and then select how many rings you wanted it to ring for!  Whyohwhy can't we still do that?!  'Progress' my a**e).
