Extend unlock Trusted Places STILL does NOT work.

I used to have a Galaxy S21 and gave up ever trying to get it to work. I just upgraded to a Galaxy S24+ and it STILL DOES NOT WORK. I repeatedly go into the setting and select my home as a trusted place while I am sitting on the couch in my home. I exit out of the setting, the phone times out, I go to open the phone and I have to enter the freakin code again! Why does this never work and has not worked for years and years across multiple versions of the Galaxy. The only connection that works is when it is actively connected to the car via Android Auto. Why does this seem to be impossible to fix? I remember it working great for years and then there was some sort of OS update and it has never worked since.

Unreal. STILL DOES NOT WORK!

I have my Garmin watch set as a trusted device. I have our 2024 Subaru Outback set as a trusted device. We will be driving, in the Subaru, with Android Auto displaying the map from my phone and playing music from my phone. I pick up the phone with my hand that is attached to the wrist wearing the trusted Garmin, and... IT STILL WANTS THE !@&! UNLOCK PIN. If you have ZERO intention of EVER fixing this, then remove this abysmal excuse of a "feature".

Exactly my problem to this day. Except my watch is an actual Samsung brand. Not only will it ask for biometrics, and while at home at that, it will occasionally ask me for my long ass password, you know, just to be sure I'm at home with my own phone wearing my linked Samsung watch. You guys are right, this isn't a feature but a fake marketing ploy.
