Extend unlock Trusted Places STILL does NOT work.

I used to have a Galaxy S21 and gave up ever trying to get it to work. I just upgraded to a Galaxy S24+ and it STILL DOES NOT WORK. I repeatedly go into the setting and select my home as a trusted place while I am sitting on the couch in my home. I exit out of the setting, the phone times out, I go to open the phone and I have to enter the freakin code again! Why does this never work and has not worked for years and years across multiple versions of the Galaxy. The only connection that works is when it is actively connected to the car via Android Auto. Why does this seem to be impossible to fix? I remember it working great for years and then there was some sort of OS update and it has never worked since.

Hit a miss with me, too. S23U and TabS9U. Even with a trusted device right next to either, they still don't work.

I have the same issue. Even trusted devices is very hit or miss. Bloody annoying

I just got it to work by altering my location settings. I had to change both my Google/Google map location settings to works all the time, and toggling the use accurate location settings.

I have had several samsung phones and a new tablet. This has never worked on any device with trusted places or trusted devices. High accuracy location not available on my new tablet. I've seen these complaints online for years. Recommended fixes NEVER work. History be a samsung bug they never fix

I can't even turn this stupid setting on. I turned on every single other extended unlock setting except this one.  I 'love' the 25 ultra... amazing phone. I swear every version and phone upgrade of samsung just gets worse and worse.😐

Well you're lucky then because none of my galaxy phones realise i'm at home or have my galaxy smart watch on or any other trusted device

Agree with those that have said this never works. I have relentlessly troubleshot this issue for years and am convinced at this point that Samsung as disabled this option. Location nor galaxy watch connectivity has ever worked to keep any galaxy phone unlocked.
