Has anyone noticed that when using Expert RAW, when taking photos without people in them it works fine but as soon as you try using it to take a photo of anyone, it seems to really mess up the HDR and blows out the highlights and smears details making it look awful, also I notice the detail gets lost which is a shame.

Also I wish when processing, the image you see in preview would be the frame used instead of it being a split second out.

Expert Raw is a miss for me. Pictures comes out too bright and saturated...

ND filters also don't work for me...

S23 here...

I thought it was just me not using Expert Raw correctly 🤔

Nope I've seen a few comments about it on here. Its the same main sensor as on the S23 ultra so I would of expected similar images, I believe it's the new processing algorithms and AI enhancement that need fixing. Hopefully the next camera update should fix it. It should be at least as good as previous if not better

I'm still in love with my S23U RAW20240404_080034_1000060517_1712214045.jpg20240417_180411_1000061624_1713373459.jpg20240220_131117_1000057457_1708434684.jpg20240217_140458_1000057184_1708178705.jpg

Thats just the reality of computational photography and moving subjects. You should shoot classic raw that just does one photo, but sadly Samsung is unable to do that.

It's not that the object was moving when trying to take a photo its just that it looked smeary and blurred detail that was present before the enhancing.

Both for me. How can something that's supposed to be better be so bad that it's like an old 2.1mp Ericcson? The strangest thing is immediately after the shot, I see a decent photo for an instant, then it's replaced with a blurry mess. Samsung have lost it, and it's time for an iPhone.
