Hi .
I have a erfy doorbell camera and I use to get notifications if the motion sensor detected anything or someone rang the door bell, I have all notifications switched on but for some reason I don't seem to get any notifications if something triggers the sensor the only time I get notified is if the app is running in the background! If I clear all apps off then I don't get notifications for eufy ! Anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks

Samsung is pretty keen to close apps, even if you need to keep them running. There's a few other options you should check, first is to check that background data usage is allowed: Settings, Data usage, Allowed network for apps.

You may also need to turn off the setting 'Put Unused Apps to Sleep' and manually add to this list the apps you're happy to sleep.

Also, what will help is pinning the app to memory. At the recents screen, with the app you want to keep open on the screen, press the app icon and choose 'keep awake'. You can still clear all the apps from memory as usual, but the 'pinned apps' will stay open

One last setting I've remembered is in Special Access (Settings, Apps, Special Access) then select Alarms and reminders. Your app should have this enabled to ensure notifications aren't killed

It's ridiculous really that, on top of the other settings mentioned earlier, all of these extra hidden settings need to be searched for and checked to enable apps to function as they should. These settings need to be easier to find and configure please Samsung

Funny thing is if I go into sleeping apps and click Never sleep apps the Eufy app is not there to add checked in all the other sleeping apps etc and it's not listed which is really odd...if I just go into apps the eufy app is there....

Have a look in Special Access, in Apps, that's probably the first place to check
