Endoscopy Cam ?

Hi members,

So I bought an endoscopy Cam on Ebay, cheap tbh...but when I got it it came with instructions & a QR to scan, to enable it to work, however, every time I try to install the app, it gets blocked by Google & Samsung & says can't install..!

2 issues here, firstly why is Google controlling my phone & why can't I install any app i want to on MY phone, I already have an anti-virus installed ? The app I'm trying to install says, cameraFi apk 

Any help would be appreciated, I've checked around 6 various endoscopy Cam apps none work with the Cam I've bought..?

You've just answered your own question APK who mentioned well them apps are going to be blocked due to security concerns running any app downloaded as a apk app. Samsung doesn't allow any apps side loaded when you try to install them. What you've getting is a warning by Google to that fact.

I'm obviously not up to speed with most of this stuff. So I've no idea what an APK is, nor what it does, nor why I can't control what I put on my phone, is there a way around this ?

where are you installing from ? what is the exact error message? it could be that app is not compatible with your S24 and or auto blocker is enabled preventing you from installing

Thanks. I've adjusted my settings & I'll give that a go..👍

There's quite a few options, I'm searching on DuckDuckgo, just adjusted my settings as per Justy101, found the app to download, hit the download button but it's ignoring me, ie, not downloading..🤷‍♂️

Go to Google play store find an app and install from there. Only accept and install software from bona fide and reputable sites

Yep, got a full refund & dont have to send it back...it'll probably end up in the bin..🤷‍♂️
