Hello, I need some technical assistance please!

I have a Dashcam fitted, which requires a WLAN connection to my phone. When I connect, I get "connected without internet" and it will not connect.

However, the camera will connect to an IPhone and an older S22 even with the message.

I have tried:
- rebooting both phone/camera
- forget/re connect WIFI
- reinstalled the app
- Bluetooth off
- mobile data off
- removed Avast mobile security (other phones didn't have it)
- cache partition cleared.

Someone MUST have a clue what might be going on please! This is driving me mad.

Tried that - no dice.

Solved it in the end- there was nothing in the manual to say turn on location services FIRST - and bam! It worked

OK maybe late on this but here is what i did. I have a toyota dash cam and app on S24 ultra phone and was getting the same message when connecting with just wifi.

What you need to do is go into the wifi setting and not select the camera wifi from the list. There is advanced setting in the upper right hand corner that looks like 3 lines. From its drop down you will select the Wi-fi direct setting. Here will give a list devices, select your camera then open the app. I was then asked for my password. Also I selected to forget the wifi network before I did the Wi-Fi direct. Hope this helps.
