Google photo downloading.

I need help with a problem. I have Google photos on my phone that I use a lot. Bit I have discovered that this phone is not allowing my to download a photo that was previously uploaded from my camera app. The download just comes up as an unsuccessful download,please can someone help me.

Search for Google takeout on the internet. You can download all your photos.

I had a similar issue with my old S10.. A crude yet effective way was to take a screenshot of the photo I wanted. I know it depends on weather you can see the photo's in question on your phone, and also uses unnecessary storage on duplicated images.

Thank you but that's not my problem, my hubby has the same phone and he can download a picture, do it's my phone.

Thanks but that's no solution for me, my hubby has the same phone and his is allowing the downloads.

Have you enabled backup and sync ?

I get the option to download by viewing a photo then clicking on the 3 dots top right. Doesn't work if the photo is already stored on your phone.
