Dual Sim Not Working Properly

I've seen a few posts regarding this, but none that address the exact issue, so please don't move this to a different thread.

My goal in using the dual sim functionality is to have both sims active simultaneously for both call and SMS. I use one sim for personal and one is for business. I want to be able to be on the personal, and get a call come through on the business. I also want to be able to send and receive business SMS while on the personal call. And of course, vice versa. I have tried multiple things, from turning on "dual sim always on" to set up forwarding, even making both sims to be e-sims. Nothing is working. I will say 50% of the time if I receive a call on one sim while I am on an active call on the other, I won't get it, let alone get notified of a missed call. If I am on a short call and get a SMS on the other line, I will get it only if I hang up, but if the call is long, that SMS is lost in space. I cannot initiate a SMS from one line while being on an active call on the other line. This is a major inconvenience for me. I've stopped at the Samsung store and was told this is a carrier issue. I've stopped at T-Mobile and was told it's the phone model. I have had this issue with multiple Samsung models, so I know it's not that. My cousin's dual sim works seamlessly on his iPhone while on T-Mobile, so I know this is not a carrier limitation.

This has been very frustrating for me since I have been missing some important business and personal calls and SMS. If this technology does not exist with Samsung, then please just say so to save me the misery of continuing to try and find a fix. And I may just have to cross over to the dark side for the first time ever, or maybe just have to carry two phones, which is the least likely scenario of the two.

It does not work with Galaxy phones as they use dual standby

You need

I think the Dual Active is needed for having mobile data on both lines, but calls and sms messages should work.
