Dolby Atmos for gaming option

Hello,

I have been searching high and low for a confirmation on whether this is an issue or work by design, but I am unable to do so.

In "Sound quality and effects" you should have two options for Dolby Atmos. The first one should be Dolby Atmos and the second one should Dolby Atmos for gaming.

I used to see these two options on my phone but suddenly I no longer see the second option anymore Dolby Atmos for gaming.

I don't know if it is related or not, but I enabled Developer Mode and update the phone to 6.1.1

Any insights or inputs are highly appreciated.

Looking in my phone's sound settings on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra I too have the one option, and find no additional options in the Game Booster Settings either. 

It's possible Samsung have switched things up in that when dolby atmos is activated this allows Dolby Atmos for all relevant outputs 🤔 

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.  

And or ask a question via your Samsung Members App.
